The HAI Pilot Safety Award honors helicopter pilots worldwide who have at least 5,000 consecutive hours of accident and violation-free flight hours. Qualified pilots will receive an 8.5"x11" certificate suitable for framing.

To qualify, you must be an individual pilot member or an employee of an HAI member company. Qualified pilots will receive a certificate for achieving 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, or 25,000 consecutive accident and violation-free flight hours.

Should you question an accident or violation, refer to the federal regulations pertaining to the country concerned. Any accident or violation, regardless of nature or circumstances, will disqualify the candidate.

You may order metal on walnut engraved plaques for $35.00 or have your certificate mounted for $20.00. Lapel pins are available for $5.00. Check the box on the application form for the appropriate item and include method of payment.
