MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDED NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
button7.jpg

General

In general, maximum distance/altitude separation from noise-sensitive areas is the most effective means of noise abatement. Control inputs should be made in as gradual a manner as possible.

Noise exposure is lower upwind than downwind of the helicopter.

Noise exposure is lower during right turns than left turns.

For offshore operations, initiate applicable fly neighborly procedure(s) when inbound at a minimum of 5 nautical miles from shore.
